Stratum granulosum |
The stratum granulosum (or granular layer) is a layer of the epidermis found between the stratum corneum (and possibly stratum lucidum) and stratum spinosum.1 In this layer, karatinocytes are now called granular cells, and contain keratohyalin and lamellar granules.2
