• August 1: The periphery levee in Waijiang, Hezhen of Jiayu County, collapsed first.
• August 5: Periphery levees in Paizhou, Jiujiang, Jiangxin area of Jiayu County collapsed consecutively.
• August 5: the lower reaches of the Yangtze River collapsed at Jiujiang and Jiangxinzhou.
• August 7: The main levee of the Yangtze collapsed.
